Job Title
: HVAC Service Technician

Work Hours
:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm with occasional overtime

Pay Rate
: up to $90,000 depending on experience

• Provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards
• Excellent customer service

• Assist with training service apprentices
• Provide feedback to the Service Manager regarding technical training needs, inventory, and retail pricing.

• Valid driver's license & insurable driving record
• 3+ years of continuous HVAC Service Experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Experienced in making repair and replacement decisions
• Experience in training and mentoring service technicians
• Advanced electrical and refrigeration principles
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and installation of residential and light commercial systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints and make accurate materials lists
• Nate Core Certification & acquire Specialty Certifications within 1 Year of hire
• Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings
• Knowledgeable in all HVAC low voltage systems
• Understand and communicate the benefits of preventative maintenance
• Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and have the ability to communicate clearly ideas and explanations of problems to residential and commercial customers and coworkers
• Able to invest time in company-paid service training seminars and classes
• Work from a 28' extension ladder and a 12' step ladder
• Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School desired
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Pass background & drug screen
