A/P Mechanic
Air Wisconsin Airlines seeks an A/P Mechanic to join our maintenance team working on Bombardier CRJ‑200 aircraft. The role involves scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance, line maintenance, inspections, A‑checks, and large component replacements in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities include performing maintenance on CRJ‑200 series aircraft, troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment to component level, disassembling and reassembling aircraft components, reading wiring diagrams and blueprints, conducting operational and preventive checks, aligning flight controls and stabilization systems, and maintaining electrical systems. You will comply with all safety rules, complete aircraft documentation, and perform work under varying shifts—including nights, weekends, and holidays—while lifting up to 75 lbs and working in confined spaces.
Required Qualifications- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Good communication skills
- Problem‑solving and organizational skills
- Experience entering and accessing technical data within computer systems
- Good judgment while working in a team environment and ensuring safety
- Ability to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised at any time
- Availability for nights, shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, sit, stand, stoop, and operate in confined spaces
- Aircraft troubleshooting experience
- CRJ experience
- FCC General Radio Telephone Operators License (GROL)
- NCATT AET – National Center for Aircraft Technician Training Aircraft Electronics
- Proof of graduation from an accredited Avionics curriculum or military program
