• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, and more.
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders (adding labor hours, updating statuses)
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections
• 2 years of experience in truck/trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Basic computer skills
• Must possess proper tools

• High School education or equivalent
• Certifications are a plus
• Welding experience
• CDL, a plus

Salary information: $29 - $40/hr (pay commensurate with experience)
