Learn more:  As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of buildings and grounds, remain highly visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and respond to resident questions and concerns with a service‑first approach.

You will document observations, report maintenance or access issues, and communicate clearly with your team while supporting a caring culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security‑related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or property concerns, reporting issues through the appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, providing assistance as needed and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
