HighlightsIn the role of Manager, Physical Security Systems working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will be part of the North America Legal Team. You will be responsible for leading the implementation and continuous improvement of physical security systems across the Americas. This role oversees a team managing access control, CCTV, mass communication systems, and other physical security systems. The position plays a critical role in capital project planning, system health monitoring, and the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance security capabilities and drive cost efficiencies.
This position reports to the Sr. Director Global Security & Crisis Management.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of 3‑5 talented colleagues and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one‑on‑one conversations.
- Lead the administration and performance of physical security systems and supporting technologies across on‑premises and cloud environments.
- Establish and enforce standards for system access, backups, and incident response; conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Manage security‑related capital projects, including resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, performance tracking, change management, and reporting.
- Partner with IT to assess and enhance system security, apply patches, and deploy new software and hardware releases.
- Research and recommend new technologies that enhance capabilities and reduce costs in partnership with IT and leadership.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through system consolidation, automation, or process improvements.
- Demonstrate authentic leadership, valuing and respecting differences to foster collaboration and a winning team culture.

- Understand how physical security systems intersect with cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies.
- Lead capital project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Utilize analytics and metrics to assess system performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Build relationships and collaborate to achieve desired outcomes.
- Take accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in physical security systems design, implementation, and management within a multi‑site organization.
- Deep knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, visitor management, and mass communication systems.
- Experience integrating physical security systems with IT infrastructure and other enterprise platforms.
- Understanding of how physical security systems intersect with cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in managing capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, Facilities, Legal) and external partners.
- Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve security posture and operational efficiency.
- Ability to lead organizational change, especially when implementing new technologies or processes.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team of security systems professionals.
