Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Government Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. This post involves driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout assigned areas.
You will interact with the public, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour
Job Schedule: Monday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM;
Thursday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM;
Saturday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM;
Sunday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Observe and report any irregularities, suspicious activity, or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public to provide assistance and information as needed.
- Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while performing patrol duties.
- Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor entrances and exits as required by the location.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
