JEL Manufacturing, a leader in concrete production equipment, is seeking a driven Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. We’re looking for someone eager to learn our industry, master our processes, and grow into a full-time sales role within approximately one year. WhatYou’ll Do
- Support our sales manager and dealer network by creating detailed customer proposals and managing order paperwork (invoices, purchase orders, shipping documents, etc.).
- Act as a key liaison between Sales/Dealer Network, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure seamless communication.
- Collaborate with third-party marketing partners to execute strategic email, print, convention, and direct marketing campaigns.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal team members and external clients, often via phone and email.
- Learn and utilize industry-specific software to streamline operations and drive results.
- Prepare accurate and professional customer proposals.
- Process and maintain order-related documentation in a paperless, multi-screen office.
- Bridge communication between sales, engineering, and accounting teams.
- Support marketing efforts to promote JEL’s cutting-edge equipment.
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through top-notch service.

- Microsoft Office
- Google Workspace
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Comfort working in a digital, multi-screen environment.
- Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving task environment.
- Moderate technical aptitude (understanding mechanical/electrical concepts is a plus).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence handling phone and email interactions.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a desire to grow into a sales role.
- Gain hands-on experience in the concrete production equipment industry, working with innovative products and a supportive team.
- Develop skills in sales processes, industry terminology, and operational systems with clear potential for career advancement.
