Job Description
We are seeking a self-driven and technically proficient professional for a Technical Sales Consultant position. This is primarily an inside sales role but will require some travel. This position will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth through direct sales, distributor support, and technical consultation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, technical product knowledge, and a customer-focused approach.
Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable but not required.
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct sales and distributor support.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing expert guidance on product selection and application.
- Technical Expertise: Understand and effectively communicate the technical features and benefits of our products.
- Direct Sales Support: Analyze sales data to identify trends and business opportunities. Assist in creating marketing and product support material.
- Distributor Support: Assist existing distributors in expanding sales within their territories by providing product training and marketing support.
- Quotation & Order Management: Prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure a smooth customer purchasing experience.
- CRM & Data Management: Maintain accurate customer records and sales data within a CRM ecosystem.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team to ensure cohesive market coverage and customer satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot product issues, and provide effective solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Proven track record in B2B technical sales, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and articulate technical product details.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Travel: Some travel may be required to customer sites, trade shows, and other sales-related opportunities.
