Location: Milwaukee, WI
Schedule: Flexible Hybrid Schedule after in‑office training is complete. 10% travel required.
Job DescriptionThe Account Executive plays a key role in providing solutions that meet customers’ needs that boost top‑line revenue and profitability. The Account Executive will develop and secure new customers while managing and growing an existing customer base.
Responsibilities- Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and handle frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Develop and maintain productive customer relationships; go the extra mile to satisfy customer needs and expectations and readjust priorities to respond to changing demands.
- Consistently be at work and on time, follow instructions, respond to managerial direction, and solicit feedback to improve performance.
- Actively seek out and identify opportunities to develop and offer new products and services within or outside the organization.
- Respond appropriately to the needs, feelings, and capabilities of different situations; remain open to others’ ideas and exhibit a willingness to try new things.
- Speak clearly and listen effectively; summarize or paraphrase understanding of what customers or coworkers say to verify understanding and prevent miscommunication.
- Develop networks and build alliances; participate in cross‑functional activities to achieve organizational objectives.
- Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities and compare data from different sources to draw conclusions.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality.
- Proficiently use appropriate personal computer software and communication systems; use basic technology as a tool for communication (e‑mail, scheduling, etc.).
- Write clearly and informatively, edit work for spelling and grammar, present numerical data effectively, and interpret written information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Three years of sales/account executive and/or customer service/inside sales experience; manufacturing environment preferred – paper, printing, and/or converting industry experience highly preferred.
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills; strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; previous ERP experience preferred.
