Inside Sales Associate

Overview

Position Summary
:
The Inside Sales Associate acts as liaison between business customers and Argon Industries and is responsible for accurate and efficient entry of customer orders within the company database.

• Open and proactive with customers to build relationships and deliver parts.
• Enter customer orders into the computer system accurately and efficiently.
• Track orders.
• Maintenance of miscellaneous manufacturing software and databases.
• Prioritize workload to meet order deadlines and customer needs.
• Communicate order changes and other pertinent information to appropriate departments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Respond to phone calls and email inquiries.
• Perform miscellaneous Excel projects as assigned.
• Provide data and sales forecasts for material requirements and scheduling purposes.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports on activities, sales volume, expenses, etc.
• Revise and maintain updated Work Instructions relative to Inside Sales.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High energy with strong communication skills.
• Exposure to manufacturing and/or fabrication processes and equipment.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office Suite).
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet the demands of the job.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Reliable, flexible, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Communication and sense of urgency is crucial when working with internal and external customers.
• 5 years’ experience using an ERP system.
