Job FunctionQuality Assurance
Responsibilities- Support our production process by monitoring and verifying proper quality techniques are being utilized at all times according to GMP, SOP, SSO, and HACCP guidelines.
- Create, update, and validate quality documentation to align with best practices and procedures throughout production that meet USDA/FSIS and BRC requirements.
- Support quality auditor team to provide oversight on daily responsibilities and activities.
- Work on a cohesive team where you are empowered to make decisions that are supported by your quality leadership team.
- HACCP and/or PCQI certified.
- 1–3 years of experience providing quality assurance practices and procedures within the food industry.
- Proven ability to operate safely and lead a quality team to effectively support company policies.
- Organized and methodical approach to problem solving, especially in time‑sensitive, deadline‑driven situations.
- Lifelong learner with strong interest in expanding understanding of food quality and safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate and empower your team and ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
