Job SummaryJoin our 32-bed inpatient unit caring for patients with complex orthopedic injuries in a team‑ and patient‑centered environment. Every shift brings new challenges and opportunities to grow your skills. Whether you are a seasoned RN or a recent grad eager to learn, you will be part of a supportive ortho‑trauma team at the heart of a Level I Trauma Center. Many patients arrive directly from surgery, giving you hands‑on post‑op experience and close collaboration with our Orthopedic Surgery Team.

The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. Clinical competence and experience in caring for and managing target patient populations specific to the area of employment are required.
Qualifications- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Upon hire, any non‑BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed registered nurse experience must enroll in a BSN (or higher) program; acceptance expected within 15 months and completion within 5 years (or 6 years for MSN, DNP, PhD).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi‑state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC.
- AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.

Hours:
36.00 hrs per week. Shift 4:
Three 12‑hour shifts (07‑19:30 or 19‑07:30). Holidays based on weekend assignment. Weekends every 3rd weekend rotation.
