Join Aurora Health Care as an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department. Your compensation will be based on your skills and experience. The base pay range is $37.50/hr - $56.25/hr.

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient interventions and involve patients and families in care planning.
• Anticipate and recognize significant changes in patients' condition; provide ongoing assessment and modify care plans appropriately.
• Reduce patient risk and increase safety through evidence‑based strategies.
• Coordinate discharge plans and interprofessional collaboration.
• Maintain nursing and regulatory standards; support shared governance.
• Communicate effectively and act as a leader within the care team.

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.

• One year RN experience preferred or prior emergency medical services experience.

• Holistic patient care with a patient and family focus.

• Proficient computer skills and use of electronic medical records.

• Maintain annual educational requirements for hospital‑based certifications.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach, and twist frequently.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, 20 lbs. over the head, carry 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
• Push/pull with 30 lbs. of force, perform sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person, use foot pedals on carts, and equipment.
• Expose to chemicals, hazardous waste, blood, body fluids, and communicable disease; protective gear required.
• Functional speech, vision, hearing, touch, and fine hand manipulation for IV insertion.
