Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position with night shifts and a requirement for previous travel experience or extensive large ED background.

• Work in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• May require floating within skillset locally or to other sites within a 40-mile radius
• Utilizes Epic EMR system; prior Epic experience is required
• Care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment
• Will be required to work every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled
• Position may require floating to other departments or nearby sites based on need
• Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced rate based on facility radius rule
• Epic EMR proficiency is required for this role
• First-time travelers may be considered with extensive large ED experience
• Scrub or dress code details will be provided during onboarding

• Active WI or compact RN license, with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Minimum of 3 years recent ED nursing experience and prior travel experience, or 5+ years in a large ED without travel experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Current AHA PALS certification required
• Current TNCC certification required and must be renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required and must be maintained per group requirements
• Nursys license verification required for consideration
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and US address
