Licensed Practical Nurse – Full-Time 1st Shift

Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will serve as a licensed caregiver, responsible for the safety and care of assigned residents/patients throughout a shift. Duties include coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the resident’s plan of care, supervision of nursing assistants, and adherence to state practice regulations.

• Provide nursing care that follows approved plans of care and standards of practice.
• Coordinate and implement care activities and evaluate outcomes.
• Supervise nursing assistant activities to ensure resident safety.
• Follow all center policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act.

• Licensed in the State as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency with nursing supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, medication carts, etc.).
• Ability to calculate drug dosages accurately.
• Meet all health requirements mandated by law.
• Effective communication with residents, families, volunteers, and staff.
• Fluent in English and basic computer literacy.
