Join our team committed to delivering the highest quality health care services. We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner who is self-motivated, energetic, and proactive.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary health care services to individuals and their families in accordance with approved privileges.
  • Collaborate with physicians as defined by law.
  • Focus on health promotion, wellness, and disease prevention.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions in partnership with patients.
  • Participate in coverage of same-day services, including urgent care, school-based care, and telehealth, with a minimum of 3 evening shifts per month depending on staffing needs.
  • Work with a physician and other advanced practice providers to care for a shared patient panel, diagnosing and managing conditions.
  • Involve patients in medical decision-making.
  • Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
  • Prescribe medications.
  • Maintain accurate medical reports and records.
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain clinical skills and licensure.
  • Attend all required meetings, including department meetings.
  • Qualifications:
    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.
    • Completed a baccalaureate nursing program.
    • Earned a master's degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner Program.
    • Certified Nurse Practitioner.
    • Licensed for prescriptive authority in Wisconsin.
    • Knowledge of social and cultural factors affecting community health service utilization.
    • Ability to understand patient attitudes and needs, and develop program goals accordingly.
    • Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff, patients, and community organizations.
    • Ability to work under pressure, evaluate situations, and respond appropriately with tact.
    • Maintain confidentiality of patient and program information.
    • Ensure program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
    • Maintain BLS certification.
    • Spanish speaking skills preferred.
