Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position with required WI or compact RN licensure and strong critical care skills.

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Patients may be adult ICU, including possible assignments in Neuro ICU and Burn ICU, and may occasionally include Med/Surg or IMC patients as needed
• Will float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU, and potentially to other sites within 40 miles based on skill set
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
• Travelers may be assigned patient populations within their skill set
• Mandatory floating within skill set and to other units or facilities as necessary
• Adheres to holiday and weekend schedule rotation
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate, with radius rules varying by state
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• First-time travelers are eligible for this assignment

• Active WI or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
