  Emergency Department (35 beds, 6 fast track rooms)
• Position Type:

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2160 - $2210
• Weekend Rotation:
  Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: 2 out of 4 major holidays or every other
• Parking:
  Free designated parking
• Scrub Color:
  Any color, professional attire

• Current and active RN license (Wisconsin or compact state)
• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience in a high-volume hospital
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (required for ER nurse jobs)
• Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV insertion, critical care drips, medication administration, TPA and blood administration, procedural sedation, and code blue response
• Proven triage experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records (EHR) system
• Covid-19 vaccination required

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages and medical conditions
• Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization for trauma, STEMI, neurological, and mental health emergencies
• Administer medications, blood products, and critical care drips as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and therapists in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Document patient care using EPIC; manage medications and equipment with Pyxis/Alaris systems
• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations
• Complete orientation (two 12-hour shifts) prior to independent practice
