Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in Milwaukee requiring a WI or compact license and AHA certifications.

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Patient assignments may include CVICU, Neuro ICU, Burn ICU, and Med/Surg/IMC depending on skill set and unit needs
• Floating required to Neuro ICU, Burn ICU, other units onsite, or to nearby sites within 40 miles as needed
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
• Patient assignments will be within the candidate's skill set
• Local candidates are eligible but may receive a reduced rate depending on radius rule
• Candidates may be required to float to multiple units or nearby facilities
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• A copy of Driver’s License and two professional references are required for consideration

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Certification required and kept current according to annual or biennial updates
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and US address
