Employment type:
Full‑time, 0.8 FTE (32 hours)
Shift: Mon‑Fri, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. No holidays or weekends.
Job Summary: As a nurse in the Grace Clinic, you care for patients with hematologic malignancies, delivering clinical support and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey. You collaborate with an interprofessional team, assess patient status, develop and evaluate care plans, use evidence to drive decisions, coordinate care across settings, and participate in continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and direct ACLS.
- Interpret rhythms independently and provide defibrillation.
- Administer advanced lifesaving medications.
- Conduct RN‑only visits for patient assessment and act according to protocols.
- Provide specialty patient education (e.g., sedation, telemetry monitoring and management).
- Assist with complex procedures and role in treatment and procedures.
- Manage advanced wound therapy, central line care, device interrogation, and complex infusions.
- Coordinate patient care, provide direct care, perform patient education, conduct telephone triage/eVisits, and assist with minor procedures.
- Float to other areas as needed for operational support.
At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience. Clinical experience or interest in the care of patients with hematologic malignancies is required.
EducationRegistered Nurse licensure required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Licensure & CertificationCurrent Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a multi‑state Nursing License under the Nurse Licensure Compact. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
