Base Pay Range$37.50/hr - $56.25/hr
Patient Population- Provide care for patients being treated for Stroke, ACE (Acute Care for the Elderly) and Acute Medical/Surgical diagnosis.
- Acquire Stroke NIHSS certification: provides skills to assess post‑stroke patients, the trajectory of patient outcomes and impact on their activity of daily living.
- Deep specialty focus on Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE).
- Continuous learning opportunities with medical/surgical patients through a wide variety of patient diagnoses, chronic conditions and treatment plans.
- Build a strong foundation in nursing skills.
- Become Certified in the Specialty of Med/Surg.
- Night shift differential: $5.00 per hour
- SIGN‑ON BONUS: up to $10,000

- Full Time 12‑hour shifts: every third weekend rotation / 50% holiday rotation (and/or Weekend Program)
- Develop skills with Stroke NIHSS certification, ACE education and training, telemetry, variety of med/surg patients with acute and chronic conditions.
- Participate in Nurse Residency and Preceptor‑directed orientation.
- Ensure continuity of patient care through 12‑hour shifts, patient‑centered care and team‑minded support.
- Become a valued member of a highly skilled, resilient, versatile nursing team committed to quality and compassionate care for diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
- Newly Licensed RNs and experienced RNs welcomed!
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs. over the head, carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
- Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Position requires use of foot pedals on carts or machines.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease; protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
