Location:

Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital. On-site, Full‑time (FTE 0.625) with standard hours 25.00 per week. Shift: 16:00–21:00, Monday–Friday.

Job Summary

The Vascular Access Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating vascular access nursing care to patients according to Froedtert Hospital's nursing professional practice model.

Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent direct patient care as a registered nurse in a medical/surgical or critical care clinical setting.
Education
  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing.
Licensure
  • Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi‑state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within 90 days.
