Manual Machinist

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Krueger Bearings is growing and we are looking for experienced MANUAL MILL MACHINISTS for 1st or 2nd shift.
• Full or Part Time. Hours can be flexible but typical hours are 7 am - 3 pm on 1st shift.
• Hours can be flexible on 2nd shift but typical hours are 3 pm - 1 am Monday - Thursday.
• NOTE:
  
  This position is ideal for someone who likes to do prototypes, and figure out new jobs on their own.
• A Tool and Die background is a good fit.
• We are a "job shop" environment running small quantity orders.
• This requires employees to be able to do their own set-ups, read and interpret blueprints and job routings.
• Experience on Bridgeport Mill machines is desired.

• Set up, adjust, program and operate milling and drilling machines on a variety of work to very close tolerance.
• Ability to use jigs, fixtures, clamps, etc.
• Select, prepare and install respective tooling.
• Adjust speeds, feeds, tooling and operational sequences as needed.
• Work from blueprints, routings, process sheets, etc.
• Excellent shop math to compute angles, radii, and other dimensions.
• Must be proficient with measuring tools: calipers, micrometer, etc.
