Experienced colleague who assists with troubleshooting, performing minor to moderate repairs, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery.

Second

Shift: 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm
Third

Shift: 10:30 pm – 6:30 am
Both include rotating weekends and must be able to train on first shift.

• Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance procedures.
• Perform visual inspections, check fluid levels, lubricate, clean parts, tighten, adjust components, replace parts, calibrate sensors and gauges.
• Perform diagnostic tests on machinery and equipment to assess condition, performance, and functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues by conducting tests, examining symptoms, and using diagnostic tools to pinpoint causes.
• Determine materials, replacement parts, and tools/parts needed to perform minor to moderate repairs.
• Document maintenance and repair activities, including recording parts used and work performed.
• May provide recommendations for future repairs or adjustments.
• Proactively inspect and maintain tools and equipment used in the workshop, ensuring they’re in good working condition.
• Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing replacement orders, and receiving and verifying against receipt.
• May request replenishments for commonly used items.
• Assist with or participate in projects involving the installation, modification, or relocation of machinery and equipment.
• Follow technical documents, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, blueprints, schematics, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Provide feedback on ongoing issues.
• Complete all paperwork associated with role, including but not limited to work orders, parts request forms, RCA reports, PM inspection sheets, runtime inspection sheets, downtime reports.
• Follow guidance from more senior level mechanics.
• May assist more junior level mechanics with routine questions.
• Follow the operations and company safety procedures and practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience.

• Demonstrates ability to select and operate appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks.
• Possesses operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Demonstrates ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.
• Demonstrates strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to team members.
• Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Possesses ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble manufacturing equipment.
• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to work effectively under limited supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
