Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21 - $24 per hour, based on experience.

Shift available: 7am - 3:30pm ;
Monday - Friday

• Operating blasting equipment to strip coatings and surface contaminants from railcar bodies and large surface areas.
• Preparing surfaces for painting or coating while adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Loading and unloading materials into the blasting booth hoppers.
• Adjusting and monitoring abrasive flow settings on blasting machines.
• Cleaning and maintaining blasting tools and booth area.
• Communicating surface preparation status to leads and supervisors.

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical certification is a plus).
• Bring 2+ years of experience in blasting or industrial surface preparation.
• Understand abrasive materials, blasting tools, and proper safety procedures.
• Can follow work instructions and read blueprints effectively.
• Are comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
• Possess strong attention to detail and take pride in your craftsmanship.
• Can work independently or as part of a team.
