Responsibilities
  • Efficiently and effectively wrap, bundle, label, palletize, package, transport, and store finished goods produced on the production lines.
  • Keep production lines cleared of finished items to promote machine efficiency.
  • Assign lot numbers; record item numbers, quantities, units of measure (UOM), and locations.
  • Use computerized warehouse management systems (WMS), radio‑frequency (RF) scanners, and barcodes to process customer orders, receive product, and relocate items throughout the warehouse.
  • Stage raw materials from the warehouse to the production line; consolidate and store raw and finished goods in their proper locations.
  • Safely store materials and supplies; perform quality inspection of incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Perform cycle counts on raw and/or finished inventory and participate in all scheduled physical inventories.
  • Operate shrink‑wrap machine to prepare finished goods for shipment; transport completed production into warehouse or staging areas.
  • Use barcode scanner to properly record storage locations; maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
  • Assist in training new employees as directed.
  • Identify and communicate safety concerns and report property damage.
  • Perform and document daily forklift (PIT) and equipment inspections.
  • Provide flexibility to train and work in multiple areas.
  • Raise any issues or concerns that arise to the Supervisor, Plant Manager, or President.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education:

High School or GED.

Experience:

1 year of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment preferred.

License or Certification

Forklift clamp and carpet pole experience preferred. Ability to obtain forklift or PIT certification as designated by OxCO to safely operate any powered equipment essential to the job function.

Physical Requirements

This job requires the ability to stand and walk most of the shift. Must be able to reach, push, and pull 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Must be able to communicate with others and complete ISO documentation accurately.
