We are seeking 1st shift Welders for a temp to hire position!

Performs set-up and welding on a variety of weldments and structures following written “job instructions” or standardized methods and procedures utilizing fixtures and jigs. Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines to produce high quality weldments and blades for the company’s lines of commercial snow and ice control products. Actively participates in a team environment. Perform designated maintenance functions, assumes ownership for quality of weldments, participates in training, performs daily 6S activities, and maintains safety standards.

• Education:
  
  Welding Technology Degree or Welding Technical Diploma desirable.
• Experience:
  
  1 to 2 years welding in a production setting desired. Strong basic math skills and ability to read blueprints are required. Robotic welding experience is highly desirable.
• Vision: near, distance, color, peripheral and depth perception.
• Able to stand and walk.
• Able to reach above shoulders and outward.
• Able to bend, squat, and crawl.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with good body mechanics.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment: eyewear, hearing protection, respirator, and steel-toed boots with metatarsals.
