Position Title: Soft Bait Operator

Wage: $20.00 - $24.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:15pm - 11:45pm (Monday - Friday)

• Operate, adjust, and assist to maintain set-up of mixing system and packaging machines to produce quality packaged products
• Ensure production process orders are carried out in accordance with RMF forms, RMW work instructions and/or video board instructions including a sign-off from the supervisor or lead on production setups at the start of each shift or process as needed
• Perform all set-up and changeovers such as threading packaging material, changing dies/lot number for marking, maintaining adjustment for fill or seal and in continuous packaging machine, cleaning various equipment
• Weigh products and record weights according to specifications of work orders
• Track and record machine data based on work instructions
• Apply and use correct labels on products
• Apply correct lot numbers to pails, cartons and/or cases
• Place bags, pails or cases correctly onto pallets
• Report malfunctions or errors, requesting corrective action
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment and packaging machine
• Monitor packaging process for the Soft Bait line
• Ensure accuracy of mixed formulations
• Notify production lead or material handler of needs for ingredients or packaging materials
