Overview

Quality Control Inspector - 1st Shift, 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $20-$24/hour (Based on Experience) |

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Quality Control Inspector for our 1st shift team. You will be responsible for performing Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspections, using traditional metrology tools to ensure components meet required specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect alignment and dimensions of parts using /OD micrometers, height stands, and calipers
  • Perform manual drafting to document dimensional requirements
  • Verify parts against product specifications, drawings, and part lists
  • Visually examine parts and document production results
  • Ensure all inspections and records comply with the Quality Management System and Customer Requirements
  • Confirm assembly completeness and identify missing or incorrect hardware
  • Participate in ongoing training and maintain equipment certifications
Required Competencies & Skills
  • Proficient with manual inspection tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Height Stands)
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid mathematical knowledge including geometry, trigonometry, fractions, decimals, and layout functions
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management abilities
  • Adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment
  • Exceptional attendance record (required)
  • Completion of Overhead Crane and Forklift Training (training provided upon hire if needed)
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Frequent use of hands, tools, and inspection equipment
  • Occasional talking or hearing in a production setting
