Split Weld Supervisor – Global Power Components

Manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures seeks an experienced Split Shift Weld Supervisor to manage MIG거 welders, coordinate production, and support a safe and efficient work environment.

• Coordinate daily activities of MIG welders/fabricators and delegate job responsibilities to appropriate employees.
• Train and motivate staff to meet demanding manufacturing requirements and schedules.
• Assist with tasks as necessary to complete assignments.
• Test products/equipment for defects and malfunctions.
• Work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures.
• Communicate changes and updates to employees regarding processes and procedures.

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• Minimum of four (4) years manufacturing facility shop‑floor experience.
• Ability to measure, compare, and perform shop calculations to ensure product compliance with engineering or sales specifications.
• Experience reading blueprints and working with steel.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience leading shop‑floor employees and motivating them to complete jobs accurately and on time.
• Detail‑oriented, customer‑focused.
