Machine Operator 3rd Shift

Join Brady Corporation as a Machine Operator for the 3rd Shift. This position focuses on producing defect‑free products in the Florist operations value stream and adhering to all company standards.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Weigh and mix raw materials following batch instructions.
  • Work with hazardous materials using engineering controls and PPE.
  • Learn and contribute to Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Set up, clean up, safely operate, and perform operator‑level maintenance on production equipment.
  • Maintain quality standards while meeting daily and weekly production goals.
  • Follow established standard work documents and perform necessary equipment adjustments.
  • Communicate production performance to appropriate leaders and departments.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by participating in project teams as needed.
  • Adhere to Brady’s attendance, safety, and company policies.
  • Keep production areas clean at the end of each shift.
  • Provide support in other production areas and perform other assigned duties.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math and computer skills (email, MS Office, G Suite, data entry).
  • Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Flexible schedule; willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 100% of shift.
  • Ability to bend, twist, crawl, climb, and reach as required.
  • Ability to push/pull 22 lbs.
  • Ability to read a micrometer accurately within 0.0005”.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
