Continuous Improvement Engineer - Plastic Packaging - Wisconsin
George Thomas has recently partnered with a leading plastic packaging manufacturer who are looking to hire a Continuous Improvement Engineer for one of their key production plants.
Location: Greater Milwaukee area, Wisconsin - Onsite
Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr
Key Responsibilities- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Develop and implement detailed improvement plans, outlining objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality assurance, and supply chain to drive process improvements.
- Monitor the progress of improvement initiatives, making data-driven adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Proactively identify and address risks, bottlenecks, and challenges that could impact improvement targets.
- 3-5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence in an onsite, manufacturing setting.
- Plastic, injection molding, or packaging experience would be an added benefit.
- Relevant degree or Six Sigma qualifications an added benefit.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
Benefits & Compensation: Base salary up to $110,000 (Flexible depending on experience) + Bonus + Fringe Benefits
