Heavy Equipment Assembler

Caterpillar is hiring
** experienced Heavy Equipment Assembly Specialists
** with a strong mechanical and heavy machinery background join our manufacturing team in
** South Milwaukee, WI.**
* ** 3–5 years of heavy equipment assembly experience
*** Proficiency with hand tools: thread dies, drills, saws, screwdrivers, pipe wrenches, chisels
* Experience using cranes, hoists, and layout tools
* Familiarity with steel, tubing, fittings, grease, oil, and hydraulic components
* Working knowledge of
** high, medium, and low-pressure hydraulic and automated lube systems
*** Ability to read and interpret
** blueprints, drawings, and micrometers
*** Strong attention to detail and ability to work to close tolerances
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Willingness to work overtime to meet production demands
