Our Scientific Professionals serve the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Environmental and Medical fields. In addition, we also provide administrative personnel with experience in technical engineering and scientific environments.
Job Title: 1st Shift Supervisor

Position Overview: The 1st Shift Supervisor leads a manufacturing functional team that fully utilizes resources to meet the scheduled activities of the Manufacturing Group. Supervises the daily shift activities in their assigned functional areas and works with team members to cultivate a winning manufacturing attitude and creative work environment. Manages the training, development, and performance of their team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise approximately 22 Production Associates, 3 Maintenance Repair personnel, and 2 Electricians.
- Monitor and improve productivity, ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality, and cost-conscious manner.
- Track and report metrics such as labor hour consumption, work order completion, inventory accuracy, throughput, capacity, and customer complaints.
- Lead Compliance, Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals.
- Establish team goals that meet or exceed established quality standards.
- Develop and implement training plans to maximize workforce capability.
- Collaborate with other managers to generate and implement continuous improvement ideas that lead to bottom-line results.
