Knitting Programmer

Plan, analyze and implement programming solutions for computer-controlled knitting machines. (WILL TRAIN ON 1st Shift for 8-12 weeks)

• Develop software programs to process custom daywear orders accurately and efficiently.
• Service and process warranties for custom daywear line via phone, e-mail and fax.
• Analyze and track yarn inventory; including monitoring restock and reorder points.
• Assist department with production related tasks as assigned.

• 1+ year experience in technical knitwear and/or yarn manufacturing. Current technologies preferred.
• 1+ year experience in a knit designer role preferred.
• Experience in Shima's knit paint or similar software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong math aptitude, detail oriented and complex problem solving skills required.

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
