Join our team committed to the highest quality healthcare! We are seeking a full-time Clinic Manager for our Parkway Clinic location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Directs daily operations needs of one or more clinical practice sites.
  • Manages all clinical supplies and equipment, including approving orders and new supply requests in partnership with Purchasing Manager.
  • Works with appropriate VP(s) to create and maintain efficient clinic budgets.
  • Works directly with department leaders on site specific quality metrics, workflow efficiencies, and other initiatives, including organizing all required staff training and health screening requirements.
  • Works directly with the QI Director to develop, reinforce and meet all quality initiatives. This includes identifying and/or creating optimal workflows, coaching teams towards improved performance and removing impediments.
  • Assists Leadership Team and their delegates to communicate, initiate and engrain mission and values through role modeling, morale and team building events, targeted events planning.
  • Lends information towards and assists with site staff evaluation process and assists with on-going related dashboard reporting.
  • Teaches and reinforces Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers' standards and values, including but not limited to:
    Customer Service and Code of Conduct through directional/correctional input to staff in coordination with department managers.
  • Identifies and assists with security, safety, and building needs as well as managing renovation projects.
  • Acts as Incident Command (IC) or assists IC with crisis management as needed.
  • Works to create supportive, energized, collegial, and synergistic intradepartmental relationships.
  • Initiates and coordinates staff- and patient-honoring events within respective buildings.
  • Identifies areas for improvement/misalignments with standards and policies, advises managers and works to resolve issues. Monitors for results of and compliance to those efforts.
  • Assists Leadership Team to resolve patient, operational and staff concerns.
  • Manages assigned clinic events within respective buildings. Coordinates functions and events with other leaders, programs, providers, community agencies and local government departments.
  • Strengthens community partnerships, identifies potential new partnerships, and proactively strengthens community ties.
  • Advises on space needs and staff planning based on patient volume and demand.
  • Works with the Facilities team to create and maintain a high-functioning and aesthetically pleasing site environment.
  • Compliance monitoring with Joint Commission and all relevant clinical regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Participates in clinical management functions and meetings as requested.
  • Complies with the Sixteenth Street TB Control Plan including PPD testing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • College degree in related field. Nursing degree helpful.
    • Experience in project management and complex problem solving.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Proven leadership abilities over individual and multi-disciplinary, cross functional teams.
    • Proven analytical skills necessary to accurately follow the facility budgetary goals and clinic policies.
    • Detail and team oriented with good organizational skills.
    • Clinical background very helpful.
    • Ability to research and organize data and information.
    • Computer-use proficiency, specifically in use of Microsoft Office software and budget planning tools.
    • Able to work confidentially, with discretion.
    • Able to relate to people of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
