Operations Training Manager at Agropur summary:

The Production Learning and Development (Operations Training) Manager will design, implement, and oversee site-wide learning programs and training initiatives to improve employee development, mobility, and operational performance. They will lead a team of training specialists, partner with plant leadership, HR, and operations excellence teams, and manage learning platforms and project components across the plant. The role requires a bachelor's degree, at least five years' L&D experience, strong stakeholder management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning technologies.

  • Salary range 005: $82,100 - $102,600 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).

What’s involved in this role :

The Production Learning and Development Manager is responsible for facilitating the development and implementation of programs, trainings, and any learning initiative to enhance employee experience. This may include employee development, employee mobility, training material. This role will inspire, motivate, and coach the team to achieve results while fostering agility to adapt to rapidly changing complex environments and aiming towards a continuous learning culture.

This position will also require a strategic partnership with Project Management, Human Capital, and Plant leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Plant Leadership and Human Capital to develop and implement the learning and development strategy for the site with input from various departments.

  • Organize and lead the overall learning and development 4-step process of Planning (Plan), Training (Do), Validation (Check), and Report and Review (Act).

  • Build strong relationships with leaders across the business to ensure that the development needs for employees are understood and are being fulfilled.

  • Build and deliver learning solutions in collaboration with other department managers.

  • Engage Corporate Operations Excellence Teams to implement best practices for learning management solutions, including technology platforms (Poka).

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to prioritize learning needs and engagement strategies.

  • Design, implement, train and support managers in the identification of critical positions and high potential employees and candidates.

  • Lead and manage a team of training specialists, including training coordinators, document specialists, and dedicated trainers.

  • Engage with key stakeholders to manage execution of Learning Programs, including onboarding.

  • Orchestrate and manage project components and learning strategies.

  • Foster agility within the team to adapt to rapidly changing environments.

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

  • Minimum five (5) years of learning and development/employee engagement experience required.

  • Human Resources experience preferred.

  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.

  • Implement processes to organize and complete tasks, organize people and activities to support the process flow, ability to measure process success, insight to see opportunities, and the aptitude to simplify complex processes.
