General Manager

Overview

We are partnering with a small, family-owned manufacturer in the Milwaukee area that is looking for a General Manager. They have been successful for decades and looking to scale the business. They are looking for a leader that has successfully grown a smaller business, developed the sales strategy as well as operational leadership. It is a great opportunity for someone that thrives in a family-owned environment where you wear a lot of hats and can transform a business.

• Develop a strategy to grow customer base, current customer portfolios, and increase overall company revenue.
• Create KPI’s to monitor performance and execution of the strategy.
• Manage customer relationships and negotiations.
• Owns product pricing, market analysis, sales target development, and customer service.

• Lead daily plant operations including process improvement, quality, safety, and cost.
• Identify opportunities and implement changes to increase capacity as the sales strategy is executed.
• Ensure production schedules and customer commitments are hit and managed against KPI’s.
• Part of executive leadership team and key contributor to P&L performance.
• Leads business forecasting activities to ensure financial goals are met.
• Manage assets and confidential business information to protect the company’s long-term growth and success.

• 5+ years leading Sales Strategy, business development, and executive leadership.
• Accomplished scaling a company that is less than $10 million annual revenue.
• Strong financial background leading P&L, accounting, asset management, etc.
• Experience leading pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and KPI development.
