Operations Manager
Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the construction/ restoration industry, is hiring a Mitigation Project Manager/ Estimator for a leading commercial disaster restoration company located in San Francisco, CA.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary: $80,000-$90,000 (DOE)

The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for restoration projects by providing estimating the scope and cost of the loss; direction and coordination of all field activities related to the mitigation teams and any coordinated subcontracts; and managing the project schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate commercial water, fire, asbestos, mold/environmental, biohazard restoration projects
- Negotiate restoration services and some insurance claim settlements
- Plan, organize, lead and manage crews on projects from start to finish
- Manage approved subcontractors
- Establish, maintain, and build client relationships through daily communication and site visits
- Serve on the emergency response team and dispatch
- Partner with teammate every day
- Deliver accurate invoices and support collection efforts
- Attend all appropriate company and team meetings
- Attend regular company sponsored training sessions
- Additional duties required as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a project manager, preferably in the restoration industry
- Preferred restoration certifications including asbestos, lead and mold
- Ability to manage budgets and schedules
- Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person)
- Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record
