** Position Description
** Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory management and control processes within a high SKU environment. This role plays a critical part in driving inventory accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through the implementation of best practices and lean methodologies. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborate with key stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of inventory systems and processes aligned with company goals.

* What You Will Do:

*** Lead and manage inventory control processes, including cycle counting and physical inventory.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce costs.
* Analyze inventory data to identify and report potential excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory practices with lean principles.
* Design and enhance policies, procedures, and infrastructure to support inventory best practices.
* Establish performance expectations for team members and conduct regular performance appraisals.
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to staff to support professional development.
* Communicate merit increases and performance-related feedback effectively and appropriately.
* Act as a recognized leader and facilitator in inventory-related initiatives across the organization.
** What You Will Bring:
*** Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
* Minimum 7 years of experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or service-related industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Proven experience in inventory control management within a high SKU environment
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and risk management
* Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives
* Advanced analytical and planning skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans
* Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Strong business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* Experience implementing lean enterprise methods (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
* Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
* APICS or CPSM certification considered an asset

Type:
Permanent, Full-Time Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000
