An award-winning national real estate developer and property management leader is seeking a hands-on, solutions-driven Maintenance Engineer to support daily building operations and infrastructure management. This role is essential in ensuring smooth and safe functioning of a high-profile portfolio that includes healthcare environments and premier commercial office spaces. The selected candidate will work on systems vital to patient safety, business continuity, and overall occupant satisfaction.

- Maintain and troubleshoot building systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and life safety systems in high-end commercial and healthcare environments.
- Respond to service requests efficiently and resolve facilities-related issues with a strong commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
- Monitor and support compliance efforts for industry-specific regulations including healthcare operational standards and accreditation inspections.
- Manage third-party vendor work to ensure quality execution and minimal disruption to ongoing business and patient care.
- Serve as a key point of contact for building occupants, providing timely updates and collaborative problem-solving.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to handle urgent and after-hours needs.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems in commercial real estate settings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or two-year degree preferred.
- Active licensure and certifications to operate and maintain commercial building systems in accordance with local regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., work from ladders, perform tasks overhead, and function in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Basic computer proficiency, valid driver’s license, and clear driving record.
- Excellent verbal communication and a helpful, customer-first approach when interacting with occupants and vendors.
- CFC Universal Certification, SMA, SMT, LEED credentials a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 software.
- Previous experience supporting hospitals or regulated medical facilities strongly preferred.
