Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

We are seeking a Floor Care Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of flooring throughout our senior living and nursing facility. This role focuses on the proper care of a variety of floor surfaces in a healthcare environment and is essential to creating a welcoming, safe, and sanitary space for residents, staff, and visitors.
What You Will Do:
* Clean, maintain, and restore floor surfaces including vinyl, tile, carpet, and other materials
* Perform floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and shampooing carpets
* Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively
* Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and infection control protocols
* Use cleaning chemicals properly and in accordance with safety guidelines
* Identify floor damage or safety concerns and report them promptly
* Maintain storage areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized manner
* Work respectfully and professionally around residents, families, and care staff
What You Will Bring:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous floor care, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred
* Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques a plus (training provided)
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
* Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment
