Position Overview

We are seeking a litigation associate to join our growing team. Ideal candidates will have top‑tier academic credentials and experience in business litigation. We especially value prior experience as a judicial clerk or at a large law firm.

You will play a critical role in all aspects of litigation, from case development through trial and appeal. We trust our associates with significant responsibility as core members of our litigation teams.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions, memoranda, briefs, and pleadings in complex commercial matters
• Manage discovery, including written discovery, document review, and depositions
• Participate in client strategy sessions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to shape case strategy and execution
• Take and defend depositions
• Argue motions in court
• Contribute to team‑based litigation efforts and help drive results for our clients

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Licensed (or eligible to become licensed promptly) in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, ideally in complex commercial or IP disputes
• Outstanding legal writing and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage tasks independently and communicate effectively
• Commitment to delivering exceptional work and client service
• Interest in a long‑term litigation career in a high‑performance environment
