Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
Our client is seeking a Senior Program Manager with deep experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to lead and orchestrate complex, enterprise-wide initiatives. This individual will play a strategic leadership role in driving end-to-end execution across acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
This role serves as the connective link between business, technology, operations, and executive leadership—ensuring alignment and coordinated execution from due diligence through post-close integration. The ideal candidate is a seasoned transformation leader with exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of enterprise business and technology ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with corporate development and cross-functional leaders to plan, structure, and execute M&A initiatives.
- Translate deal strategy and value drivers into actionable integration or separation plans with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
- Support due diligence efforts by assessing operational, technical, and organizational impacts.
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional integration and transformation programs from assessment through full implementation.
- Establish governance structures, steering committees, reporting frameworks, and decision-making processes.
- Manage interdependencies across business functions and technology environments to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Oversee program risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes.
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to ensure technology strategies support integration objectives.
- Drive harmonization of processes, systems, data, and policies across organizations.
- Align on platform strategies, application roadmaps, and data migration activities.
- Collaborate with architecture teams to define and implement future-state operating models and technical frameworks.
- Provide executive-level reporting on program health, financial impact, risks, and key decisions.
- Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to foster transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
- Manage external partners and vendors as required.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and synergy realization plans aligned with strategic objectives.
- Ensure effective organizational transition to new processes, systems, and operating models.
- Drive continuous improvement and integration best practices throughout the M&A lifecycle.
- Extensive program or project management experience, including significant experience leading M&A integrations or enterprise-wide transformations.
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning business and technology domains.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, data governance, IT structures, and organizational change management.
- Experience with integration scenarios such as ERP consolidation, systems migration, process harmonization, or organizational restructuring.
- Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments while managing multiple priorities.
