Snowflake Data Engineer

10 is currently seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer for a contract position with a major financial services company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity.

Pay range: $72.86 - $75.90 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level.

This role is for a Snowflake expert who will assist the client’s Wealth Management division with their initial setup and integration of Snowflake. The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing a new Snowflake instance, including data lineage and governance, to change the current data integration pattern from flat files to Snowflake data sharing. This position will also play a key role in discussions regarding the long‑term data strategy for the Wealth Management area.

• Assist with the initial setup and integration of a new Snowflake instance
• Establish data lineage, governance, and best practices within the Snowflake environment
• Contribute to the long‑term data strategy for the Wealth Management division
• Work with third‑party vendors to integrate data via Snowflake sharing
• Change data integration patterns from nightly flat files to direct Snowflake access

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with the Snowflake platform
• Proven expertise in AWS
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance principles
• Experience with Data Mesh architecture
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis
