Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applications Analyst

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Analyst supports AI initiatives from both a build and on-going support perspective, as well as help shape and guide the corporate strategy for AI/Generative AI across WEC Energy Group. This role focuses on designing, modifying, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting AI agents and other AI solution offerings. In addition, this role creates and maintains standards, processes, training programs, and ensures AI alignment across the organization— all while upholding WEC's ethical standards.

• Design, develop, and implement AI and generative AI applications, as well as go forward support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AI-related issues, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of AI-driven applications.
• Monitor AI workloads with observability tools and AI Operations best practices.
• Create and manage AI standards, procedures, and training.
• Support company-wide alignment of AI efforts.
• Review AI solution architecture.
• Ensure AI solutions are secure and scalable within Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and capabilities.
• Participate in corporate-level AI governance and strategy.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Artificial Intelligence, or Engineering. Successful completion of a certified Application Development Apprenticeship will also be considered.

• 2+ years of professional experience in AI/ML development or enterprise AI implementation
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Strong understanding of AI solution architecture and deployment
• Familiarity with data privacy, security, and ethical considerations in AI
