Role Overview :
We are seeking a Cloud/Platform Engineer to join our IT Operations team. This role is a backfill for an existing position and will play a key part in delivering high-impact, business-driven cloud initiatives. The engineer will focus on automation and infrastructure design within Azure, supporting both internal platform development and external application modernization efforts.

Key Projects

• Azure AI Search Integration and modernization of on-prem applications for off-network availability
• Platform-as-a-Product development:
  Automating platform services for application delivery teams
• Supporting a maturing cloud environment with scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

• Design and implement Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform)
• Automate monitoring, scaling, and management of cloud resources
• Build and maintain Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines
• Develop reusable Azure infrastructure modules aligned with business needs

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into automated cloud solutions
• Provide guidance on Azure best practices and automation strategies
• Offer training and support to internal teams as needed
• Contribute to a collaborative and agile team environment

Knowledge of:

• Microsoft Dev Ops, Git Hub
• Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Bicep, Ansible
• Code promotion and release workflows

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
