Description: The HRIS Business System Analyst will support the Workday Payroll module by driving defect resolution, configuration, reporting, testing, and release readiness. The analyst partners with business stakeholders and IT to align solutions with user needs, evaluates new applications, and recommends enhancements. Communications and presentations on system changes will be prepared under the guidance of a project manager.
Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For w2 consultants there is a benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr.
Responsibilities- Support Workday Payroll by troubleshooting system defects and managing configurations, reporting, testing, and release activities.
- Serve as a liaison between IT development and business units to enable new systems and enhance existing solutions.
- Develop system specifications and contribute to design and development from the end‑user perspective.
- Evaluate new applications and identify system requirements aligned to business needs.
- Assess new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend system alternatives or enhancements.
- Prepare communications and deliver presentations on system enhancements and alternatives.
- Work under the direction of a project manager to meet scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
- At least 2 years of Workday Payroll experience supporting administration, configuration, reporting, testing, and releases.
- Experience supporting multiple countries, specifically the United States and Canada.
- Experience with multiple pay groups including hourly and salaried workers.
- Experience supporting unionized employee groups in payroll processes.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into system specifications and enhancements.
- Experience preparing communications and presentations for system changes.
