Employment Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire

Duration: 6 months CTH

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Manager for our Digital Vendor Management Office to define and execute corporate-wide vendor strategies across IT and Digital initiatives. This is a fully in-house role – we do not work with third parties or vendors. You will lead vendor governance, contract negotiations, RFP execution, and performance management, ensuring cost optimization, compliance, and strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the Digital VMO, defining governance models, policies, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Develop and execute vendor management strategies aligned with IT and Digital roadmaps.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions, partnering with Legal and Finance to mitigate risk.
  • Drive RFP/RFI/RFQ processes, sourcing strategies, and vendor selection for complex IT and Digital initiatives.
  • Define and monitor vendor performance metrics and manage executive-level vendor relationships.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to VMO team members, ensuring accountability and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT/Digital vendor management, strategic sourcing, or technology procurement.
  • Hands-on experience with VMO operations, technology contract negotiations, and vendor governance.
  • Expertise in hardware, software, cloud, SaaS, managed services, and professional services contracts, including pricing, licensing, and SLAs.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and risk assessment skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level presentation skills, with ability to influence senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, ITIL, or CISM.
  • Experience implementing or maturing enterprise VMO frameworks.

Why This Role is Exciting:

You will have ownership of strategic vendor initiatives that directly impact IT and Digital performance, while leading a governance function critical to operational efficiency and cost optimization—all in a purely internal, in-house setting.
