Job Title: Data Telecommunications Circuit Provisioner
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay Range: $23/hr–$25/hr
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Telecommunications Circuit Provisioner to join our Network Provisioning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end provisioning of data and internet circuits, including quoting, ordering, tracking, and coordinating installations with vendors and internal teams. This role is critical to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of network services to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Order and provision internet and data circuits (e.g., Ethernet, MPLS, DIA, broadband) from telecom carriers and ISPs.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal engineering teams, and project managers to ensure timely circuit delivery and activation.
- Track and manage circuit orders through their lifecycle, from submission to installation and testing.
- Maintain accurate records of circuit inventory, order status, and vendor communications.
- Troubleshoot provisioning issues and escalating as needed to ensure resolution.
- Review and validate vendor quotes.
- Support network upgrades, migrations, and new site deployments by ensuring circuit readiness.
- Collaborate with billing and finance teams to verify circuit charges and resolve discrepancies.
- Document provisioning processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- 2+ years of experience in telecommunications provisioning, focusing on ordering internet and data circuits.
- Familiarity with telecom carriers (e.g., AT&T, Lumen, Verizon, Comcast, Zayo) and circuit types (e.g., Ethernet, T1, fiber, broadband).
- Strong understanding of circuit provisioning workflows and terminology (LOA/CFA, FOC, circuit extensions, demarcation, etc.).
- Experience using telecom ordering and ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Salesforce, carrier portals).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other productivity tools.
- Experience with enterprise network environments or managed service providers.
- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals.
